Why the Greater Los Angels is a Popular choice!

When planning a corporate event, it's important to pick a location that not only is convenient for transportation and logistics but one that offers a wide array of activities to your attendees to enjoy when they're not involved in corporate events. The greater Los Angels area is a popular choice -- primarily since there are so many hotels in Los Angels near LAX airport.

Concentration is required for every detail to plan a successful event whether it's a small business party, a celebration event or a large corporate event. Choosing the location is just the first of many steps to a successful event.

Location, Location, Location

The old saying for real estate, "location, location, location" holds true when planning your corporate event as well. Often, a corporate event will take place in a location that is out of the noise and congestion of the big city to enhance the atmosphere and give attendees the feeling of something totally different than their usual surroundings. It's always fun to experience something different. It can be difficult to find hotels near LAX airport that are close enough to keep additional transportation costs at a minimum. Many event planners look to the Mariana Del Rey hotels as an ideal base for corporate events since they are just four minutes from the LAX airport.

Choose Your Hotel

Most hotels near the LAX airport will have an events manager. This is going to be your new best friend. You can count on him to offer ideas to help make your event a great and memorable affair. One suggestion he will make is to offer additional activities for the free time your guests will have. If you select one of the Marina Del Rey hotels, for instance, you'll be in luck because there is so much to do and it's all nearby. A few suggestions include:

* Stroll along the Venice canals -- the late tobacco magnate, Abbot Kinney created a model community designed after Venice Italy. Today the charming turn-of-the century neighborhood still maintains the network of canals.
* Take a ride on the WaterBus and get a unique view of the harbor. You can park your car and board on of the seven boarding stops for only $1.00 per person (one way)
* Bring a picnic basket, blanket or low folding chair and enjoy one of the free outdoor concerts featuring both pop and classical performances held all summer long in beautiful Burton Chace Park.
* Rent a bicycle for a leisurely ride around the city and beaches or utilize the free bus shuttle on the weekends.
* Take a cool ride with a narrated harbor tour showing the best of the city from a waterside view.
* Walk, yes walk around urban and stylish Abbot Kinney Boulevard, which is the center of the Venice creative community. Adjacent to the hotels of Marina Del Ray it's full of great cafes and restaurants, art galleries and fine boutiques.

Organization Is The Key

If you're lucky and you are the person responsible for an annual event you can draw on your past experience to make your next event even better. However, if this is your first time planning such an event you'll want to make sure you're organized, keep notes as to what has been discussed with the hotel's event manager and any questions that may arise along the way.

Tips For the Perfect Golf Vacation in Spain

The most popular destination for golfers in Spain is undoubtedly the Costa del Sol. So much so, that in recent years the area has become universally known as the 'Costa del Golf', which is perhaps not surprising given that there are more than 70 golf courses in this part of southern Spain, and 4 of those courses are included in the top 10 European golf courses
The increasing popularity of this region is attributed to the all year round mild Mediterranean climate which attracts golfers from all over Europe and beyond.

A number of the golf courses in the Costa del Sol are prestigious championship courses and have played host to some of the worlds top golf tournaments like the Volvo Masters and the Ryder Cup.

Northern Europeans have for many years been taking winter golf vacations in Spain, they see it as the perfect escape from the harsh northern winters, and Spain has done everything it can to ensure that the golf experience they provide is the best it can be.

The quality of the accommodation on offer has been improving over recent years as well, and the real growth market has seen a huge increase in high end 5 Star resorts.

The summer months are the busiest time of year and sees demand for accommodation and tee times outstrip what the market can supply, and it is often almost impossible to find hotels and courses with availability during July or August.

Things to Consider to Guarantee a Great Vacation

1. If you want to take your golf vacation in Spain during the peak summer months, you will need to book very early. It is possible to obtain tee times for the most popular courses, but only if you book well in advance - you might even get a slightly reduced rate if you book early enough.

2. Consider taking your vacation between September and June, the climate is perfect for golf, and you should be able to negotiate a great deal on both hotel rooms and green fees.

3. The key to a perfect golf vacation is planning, planning, planning. Use the Internet to explore all your options, green fees, hotel rooms, car rental and flights can all be booked on line.

4. Time to improve your game? A vacation is the perfect time to take a few lessons and improve your swing. Spain has some great teaching professionals who will help you work wonders.

5. The real beauty of Spain is that it offers so much outside of golf as well. The culture, the history and the relaxed Mediterranean way of life is a real added bonus.

6. Your Spanish golf vacation can be as relaxing or as frazzled as you choose to make it. During the day you can explore the tranquil Spanish countryside, or if you prefer, you will find that the nightlife here is as wild as the west.

Honduras: The Home Of Tobacco

Those who love cigars know that Honduras is one of the world's best places to make them. After all, this Latin American country has been a prime tobacco-growing location for centuries, and its cigar industry boomed again after 1959, when many longtime Cuban cigar makers fled the Castro regime for neighboring countries - including this one.

No wonder that Honduran cigars - including those from La Fontana, Camacho, Carlos Torano and La Libertad - sell better than any others in the United States, with the exception of the Dominican Republic.

But how many of us know much about this rich, fascinating country? Like the other Latin American countries which might be said to form the world's "cigar belt" - Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Brazil, and Mexico - Honduras's past affects its position as a producer of fine tobaccos - and just possibly its future.

Honduras is, first of all, a proud and epic country: the Mayan Empire, during its classic period (150-900 CE), built cities near the present-day site of Copan, bequeathing a set of ruins that beguile archaeologists and inspire visitors.

Christopher Columbus "discovered" this country - already rich in lived history - on his fourth voyage of 1502, and even the story behind the country's name is romantic. Columbus, it is held, on reaching the Bay Islands near present-day Honduras's coast, whispered the words "Gracias a Dios que hemos salido de esas Honduras": "Thank God we have emerged from those depths." "Honduras" means "depths," literally and metaphorically.

Honduras was run by the Spaniards until 1821, when it, along with the other Spanish American provinces of the Spanish Empire, gained independence. Border disputes with other Latin American countries, especially El Salvador, have led to intermittent fighting through the years, and the country has suffered under bouts of political oppression, particularly during the 1980s (when extrajudicial executions, torture and "disappearances" became frequent, albeit not as common as in neighboring Nicaragua).

Honduras remains a developing country, especially after the devastation wrought by Hurricane Mitch in 1998 (which also destroyed much of Nicaragua): according to then-President Carlos Roberto Flores, the superstorm destroyed half a century's worth of economic gain and developmental progress in less than a week. Seventy percent of that year's crop died - a small loss for smokers, who depend on the country for its sublime tobacco, but a barely-survivable one for the nation's small farmers.

But the country did survive. In recent years it's even boasted an annual growth rate of seven percent - one of the best in Latin America. (Still, half the population remains in poverty.)

Along with the cultural and personal strength that allowed Hondurans to survive such a disaster, the country is also strong in another kind of resource: ecological ones. In less than fifty thousand square miles, it contains over six thousand species of plants, two hundred kinds of reptiles, and seven hundred bird species. In the Rio Platano Biosphere Reserve - added to UNESCO's list of World Heritage sites in 1982 - it boasts one of the world's great rainforests.

These areas may hold the key to greater understanding of evolutionary and biological history, or to new drugs. Like several other Latin American countries which depend largely on farming, yet are blessed with ample ecological resources which must be maintained, the country has faced and will continue to face a difficult balancing act in deciding how to use, without exploiting, its environmental riches (which include the soil in which its excellent tobacco is grown).

Given tobacco's importance as a cash crop - it gives Hondurans something to sell to the United States, and it also gives them a certain leverage with other Latin American countries, as tobaccos of all types flourish in its soil - it's not surprising that Honduras is not following in the anti-smoking footsteps of, say, Brazil.

Percentages of smokers are still relatively high (in the low thirties for men, a rate comparable to that of the US) and public smoking regulations are fairly light (you can't smoke on the bus or in the hospital, basically). Perhaps this is one tobacco-producer that smokers should consider seeing firsthand. After all, with its considerable natural beauty and light regulation of smoking, this could be a cigar lover's paradise!

Choose from more than 1200 different cigars! Other cigar products include cigar humidors, cigar boxes, and cigar accessories like Zippo Lighters.

How much is a night in Hondurans hotels? You guessed it – here is the answer

Tuscany in Italy -The Countryside Paradise Full Of Wonders

The majority of people who visit Tuscany see Florence and Pisa as the predominant attractions and fail to recognise that the rural localities of the region as a tourist attraction in their own right. This countryside paradise, full of wonderful farm buildings and beautiful medieval towns and villages should form part of any trip itinerary when in Tuscany; it is simply too good to miss. Most consider this to be the real Tuscany, a landscape of rolling hills interspersed by farm buildings, vineyards and terracotta houses.

Holidays spent travelling round the sumptuous Tuscan countryside are relaxing in extremis; allowing visitors to completely unwind and forget about work and life at home. Visitors may choose to watch the world go by sitting at a local cafe sipping the great wine or coffee, or may wish to sit atop one of the many hillsides purveying the glorious scenery. Holidays in this part of the world are all about relaxation and rejuvenation, winding down to the local way of life and simply, taking it easy.

For the chance to sample the fine cuisine and wines of Italy Tuscany is a must visit destination. The Tuscan cuisine is heavily focussed on meat dishes even though the countryside is predominantly used for arable farming. The dishes include steaks and pork cooked in a traditional way and accompanied by fresh, juicy seasonal vegetables. Locals think of nothing of spending hours at the dinner table conversing and enjoying both each other's company and the great food; for travellers, doing the same is a vital experience.

Italy is famed for its wine and has been since at least the Roman age. Thankfully Tuscany is exactly the same and is intensely proud of its wine making heritage. The farm complexes and affixed vineyards in most cases are happy to welcome tourists on tasting trips to sample their wares. A large number of wines are produced in the region although the most famous variety is Chianti. Chianti from Tuscany is considered by many to be the perfect tipple to complement the meat dishes and a great way to understand the Tuscan culture.

The rural regions of Tuscany are in most instances, picture perfect. Rolling hills dotted with quaint farm buildings at the centre of richly coloured farmland. The crops gently sway in the wind while the cypress trees that border the fields give a vista that is impossible to find anywhere else in the world. In many cases it is like stepping back in time for tourists to a simpler, less stressful age. The rural localities can be considered perfect for holidays whether travelling as a couple or as a family. The scenery oozes romance while the wide open spaces give children the chance to play to their heart's content. All this is accompanied by warm Mediterranean sun and glorious blue skies; some may argue that the word paradise simple does not do rural Tuscany justice.

In terms of accommodation there are a variety of choices for holidays. While Florence and Pisa are filled with large hotels, increasingly farm accommodation is becoming popular with tourists as it gives direct access to the marvellous interior. It is not just farm buildings but also castles are being converted into holiday complexes with swimming pools and places to undertake activities such as horse riding and cycling. In most cases these places are run by locals ensuring the warmest of welcomes and service with a personal touch.

The benefits of visiting rural Tuscany are hard to dispute. Tourists are guaranteed to return from their holidays, more relaxed, refreshed and rejuvenated having sampled the best that the region has to offer. So for a unique and interesting holiday idea, consider rural Tuscany as the perfect destination.

A Primer: California Vacation Destinations – Part 2

There’s always a first time for everything, and learning about popular California vacation destinations is not exceptional. The question in today’s Bargains Hotels - reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "What’s the in difference between these similar locations based in California?"

An overview of several popular California vacation destinations with a few helpful tips along the way and lodging recommendations - This article is just to help you get a feel for how these seemingly similar locations differ. It is not an in-depth study of any one destination.

-------

A Primer:
California Vacation Destinations – Part 2

San Pedro, CA – Okay, it’s time to head to the beach! West of LA, San Pedro enjoys a completely different lifestyle from the busy bees over in the City of Angels, and the intriguing visual style of the town, tinged with Mediterranean accents, only intensifies the feelings that you’re truly somewhere else.

San Pedro is a popular thoroughfare to Catalina Island. One of the west coasts many Channel Islands, Catalina is famous for silvery-gray beaches and dense, unassailable forests. It’s not just a great coastal hangout, but it’s also the stomping grounds of several celebrities, so bring your cameras. San Pedro is also a great place to stay if you’re heading out on a cruise from the Port of Los Angeles. The accommodations are generally cheaper than LA, and the transportation to the port is easy from within the city.

For San Pedro, CA hotels near Long Beach Airport: Doubletree San Pedro

Redondo Beach, CA – Rounding out the Los Angeles area with the ultimate beach getaway, Redondo Beach opens up a world of oceanfront attractions including sport fishing, surfing, boating, snorkeling, volleyball, and more without eliminating the chance of a one or two-day Los Angeles adventure. You can find reasonable beachfront accommodations during the off season, November to April, but here’s the cool thing about Redondo Beach: there really is no off-season. In fact, surfing on New Year’s Day is a local tradition, and the waves are clean year-round.

For Redondo Beach hotels near LAX: Crowne Plaza Redondo Beach and Marina Hotel

North of Los Angeles

These destinations are just a little too far from L.A. to qualify above.

Oxnard, CA – Located in California’s Strawberry Coast, Oxnard is perfect for travelers looking to experience an assortment of beachfront delights while discovering the offbeat vibe of a local community. The folks in Oxnard are big festival goers, especially throughout the summer, and if you can plan it right you should aim to visit during the California Strawberry Festival. Along with big name musical acts and every strawberry-flavored food you can imagine, the huge event hosts cooking contests, shows, and fun children’s activities.

Oxnard, CA is also the site of the summer training grounds for the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys for a few years running now. So if you’re a football fan, you’ll discover even more to do during the summer.

For an affordable hotel in Oxnard, CA: Hampton Inn Channel Islands Harbor

Santa Barbara, CA – Eclectic tastes will inevitably draw you to Santa Barbara, a charming beachfront community where you can go whale watching in the morning and tour a verdant wine country by afternoon. Up there with the very best of California, Santa Barbara is a beautiful city that combines Mediterranean sentiments with historic mission-style architecture. Named the “Riviera of the West”, it’s no wonder Santa Barbara has become a playground for the rich and famous.

For a full day’s worth of entertainment, head just a little further north to the unusual city of Solvang. Built to resemble a traditional Danish village, Solvang will overwhelm you with delicious food and first-rate sightseeing and golfing opportunities.

For affordable Santa Barbara airport hotels: Holiday Inn Santa Barbara-Goleta

San Francisco

Go even further north of Los Angeles and you’ll reach a magnificent city with a vibe all its own. San Francisco is one of California’s premier tourist destinations for plenty of reasons: it’s beautiful, it’s safe for a city its size, it’s diverse, and there’s just so much to do. Like Los Angeles, you’ll need a well-formulated plan to see even half of what you want to see, but the trip is well worth it.

Although not located near the local airport, a great district to stay in town is Fisherman’s Wharf, because unlike Los Angeles, San Francisco is reasonably easy to experience without a car. In fact, depending on your fortitude behind the wheel, it could be much easier to just go without. By staying in Fisherman’s Wharf, the city’s most popular tourist destination, you’re able to walk quickly to some the area’s most notable attractions including Pier 39, China Town, Union Square, the financial district, and countless museums. Best yet, the world-famous cable car service runs through the center of Fisherman’s Wharf, offering you fun, if not quick, transportation to other attractions.

If you’re a seafood fan, be sure to pick one of the Wharf’s restaurants on the bay. It’s some of the best you’ll find in the country.

Dana Point, CA – Although the region has been a beachfront paradise for as long as humans have settled here, the communities around Dana Point and Laguna Beach have come into highest prominence recently thanks to television. Although known for golfing, exquisite shopping, and generally displaying the very peaks of the highlife, Dana Point and its surrounding beaches are actually one of the surfing capitals of the country. Home of the infamous “Killer Dana” wave until harbor construction interfered, local Doheny Beach offers a challenge to surfers of any skill level. You’ll also find great surfing not far off at San Clemente Beach, home of the Trestles, a lauded collection of waves.

For California Dana Point hotels in Laguna Beach: Doubletree Guest Suites Doheny Beach

Palm Springs – Set to the backdrop of the majestic San Jacinto Mountains, the glamorous desert community of Palm Springs is certainly different than the Western Coast, although they do agree on the importance of a little laidback pampering. Palm Springs is ideal if you like to move back and forth between tranquil relaxation and active entertainment. Hiking, biking, and trail rides are the signature entertainments for outdoor enthusiasts, and for a truly once-in-a-lifetime thrill, consider a hot-air balloon ride.

Palm Springs is busy throughout the year but reaches maximum capacity in the spring when avid golfers and college students on Spring Break flock into town. By midsummer, hotel prices start coming back down.

For Palm Springs hotel reservations: Wyndham Palm Springs

When you’re planning a trip this summer (or anytime), and you’re looking for fun in the sun with a little something more, consider these outstanding California vacation destinations.

A Primer: California Vacation Destinations –Part 1

There’s always a first time for everything, and learning about popular California vacation destinations is not exceptional. The question in today’s Bargains Hotels - reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "What’s the in difference between these similar locations based in California?"

An overview of several popular California vacation destinations with a few helpful tips along the way and lodging recommendations - This article is just to help you get a feel for how these seemingly similar locations differ. It is not an in-depth study of any one destination.

-------

A Primer:
California Vacation Destinations – Part 1

As the summer swings into high gear, thoughts of towering palms, umbrella drinks colored neon magenta, shimmering coastlines, and the heady roll of the surf invariably capture the minds of eager travelers. Of course, that hardly narrows your choices.

Beachfront vacations abound along much of eastern coast, especially approaching the south and Florida. The Caribbean will certainly get you to beach-bound bliss, as will Hawaii if you don’t mind a lengthy (and expensive) flight. You can even find exciting beach communities along the western coast of British Columbia, Canada, although you may have to leave the palm trees behind.

All of these places share great beachfront communities, and if your only goal come vacation time is to lounge on the sand and bake, you could do just as well at any of them. But if you’re looking for something more, if you’re looking to spice up your oceanfront days with metropolitan nights, then your summertime land o’ plenty is California.

The sprawling coastline gives you the freedom of choice, of selecting the getaway spot that’s just right for you, and the bustling cities seasoned with tourist appeal give you a world of options beyond. In fact, unless you plan it out thoroughly, you might not even make it to the beach, because there’s so much else to do (and don’t worry, you won’t mind).

So here’s a primer on several California vacation destinations with hotel recommendations.

Los Angeles Area

Los Angeles, CA – Of course, Los Angeles is a sprawling city that covers nearly 500 sq. mi., not counting the countless suburbs that bulk up the metropolitan area, so if your goal is to experience the city proper, planning is essential. For starters, stay near the airport. You don’t want your first experience in L.A. to be a confusing tangle with gridlock traffic. Most Los Angeles hotels near LAX offer shuttles to and from the airport and may even have onsite car rental services. After your flight, it’s nice to get the busy work out of the way. Check-in, drop your bags, maybe rest for five minutes, and then ask the concierge or front desk what the traffic is like. In congested destinations like LA, the locals know better than Mapquest.

Before going, decide what you want to get out of the city. Not even with a two-week visit could you possibly see it all, so you’ll need to prioritize. If it’s your first visit, it’s hard to beat Hollywood as the go-to attraction. Make time for the Walk of Fame, Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, Universal or Paramount Studios, and the Hollywood Wax Museum just as a start. If you're hoping to see a little bit of everything, look into getting a Go Los Angeles™ Card. Available from $50-200 depending on the duration, this card offers significant discounts and even free admissions to over 40 popular Los Angeles attractions.

For convenient Los Angeles airport hotels: Embassy Suites Los Angeles - International Airport/South

Glendale, CA – For a more affordable stay that is undoubtedly still LA-centric, the northern suburb of Glendale will provide you easy access to north Los Angeles without forcing you through the hustle and bustle of downtown. From Glendale, you can expect a 10-20 minute drive to Hollywood, depending on traffic, and barely five minute’s drive to Griffith Park, a vast public park filled with museums and event attractions but perhaps best known as home to the Hollywood Sign. If staying in Glendale, plan your flight through the much closer Bob Hope Airport.

While Glendale is primarily a different route into the big city, it does have one surprising feature: Armenian cuisine. As home to the largest Armenian population in the United States, there’s an incredible selection of traditional Armenian restaurants, and you’ll rarely have another opportunity to travel within the country and experience such a cultural leap.

For hotels near Burbank Bob Hope Airport: Hilton Los Angeles North/Glendale

Gorgeous Bluegrass Festivals and Venues in Asheville, NC

There’s always a first time for everything, and learning about some of the well-know venues is not exceptional. The question in today’s Bargains Hotels - reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "What’s so fascinating about blue grass music and Asheville?"

Blue grass music is popular in the Asheville North Carolina area. Learn about some of the well-known venues where visitors can receive a real taste of authentic blue grass music and culture.

-------

Discover the gorgeous -Bluegrass Festivals and Venues in Asheville, NC

Bluegrass music is a form of American roots music. It is considered by many to be a sub-genre of country music and has its roots in Irish, Scottish and English traditional music.
Bluegrass was inspired by the music of immigrants from the United Kingdom and Ireland (particularly the Scots-Irish immigrants and in Appalachia).

As in jazz, each instrument in bluegrass takes a turn playing the melody and improvising around it, while others revert to backing. Traditional bluegrass is typically based around acoustic stringed instruments such as acoustic guitar, banjo, fiddle, and upright bass, with or without vocals.
Asheville, NC is a great place to set up base camp while exploring various bluegrass venues and festivals that this Blue Ridge mountain area has to offer. Prior to planning your trip, you must first decide on an appropriate Asheville hotel.

When it comes to Bluegrass music, the Asheville, NC area offers an array of places where people cannot only listen to music, but also participate. For example, Jack of the Wood, a downtown Asheville hot spot, is a Celtic-style pub where handcrafted English style ales are brewed at a nearby brewing facility and served fresh daily.

On a typical evening, you will find many patrons gathered around the black walnut bar or at long tavern tables, engaged in conversation about art, religion and politics while local musicians fiddle away. Thursday nights is the highly popular bluegrass jam; it starts around 10:00 p.m.; everyone is invited to bring their instrument, help make a little music, or simply listen.

The Fiddlin’ Pig, also located near downtown Asheville hotels, is a great venue to enjoy some barbecue while listening to bluegrass music. They feature local bluegrass musicians Monday through Saturday. Grammy-award winner Marc Pruett schedules the best and most entertaining bands the region has to offer. Music begins at 7:00 p.m. and reservations are accepted for groups of eight or more.

Downtown Asheville’s Summer Bluegrass Music Festival

The Shindig on the Green is also a wonderful Asheville, NC tradition. The dates are as follows: June 28, July 5, 12, 19; and Aug. 9, 16, 23, and 30. This mountain tradition features an eclectic variety of big circle mountain dancers, clog dancers, bluegrass and old-time string bands, ballad singers, and storytellers. Shindig on the Green gets underway about sundown (7:00 p.m.) and usually runs until about 10:00 p.m. It is centrally located to many Asheville hotels.

Visit Marshall, Just 40 Minutes From Asheville for Friday Night Blue Grass

For those who wish to venture into more rural areas to get a deeper sense of the local music scene, the traditional music at The Depot in Marshall, NC is a spot not to be missed. And, don’t be surprised if someone grabs your hand and invites you to dance. Every Friday the bluegrass jams start at 7:00pm and admission is free.

Blue Ridge Music Hosts Blue Grass Evenings on Mondays

Finally, every Monday from 6:30 ’til 8:30 p.m., Blue Ridge Music, an acoustic instrument store located in South Asheville, hosts an open jam. This jam is open to anyone who wants to come -- whether a hot picker from Tennessee or just a toe-tapper from around the bend. The Blue Ridge Music jam has produced several bands over the years and has been a place where people form long-lasting friendships with their fellow jammers.
Hey, when visiting Asheville, put some blue grass music on the itinerary. It’s a favorite way to experience Appalachian Mountain culture.

The Perfect Hotel For Your Dream Caribbean Vacation!

There’s always a first time for everything, Bargain Hotel while in holiday is not exceptional. The question in today’s Bargains Hotels - reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "How to choose the dream hotel for you?"

The Caribbean Hotel Association was first established in 1959 as a committee of the Caribbean Tourist Association. This was a private and public sector committee that was established to promote the Caribbean region in response to a specific requirement. In 1962, the CHA became autonomous. During its formation the CHA was strongly focused on the Caribbean tourism market and aspects like airlines controlled access, hotel reps controlled communication with travel agencies, and wholesalers controlled traffic and payments. At this point the hotels themselves were not included in the CHA operations.

It was finally realized that in order to fix any problems and issues it would necessary for the entire Caribbean hospitality industry to unite and this prompted the CHA to develop and implement several programs over the years. These programs included the following.

Achieving recognition for the Caribbean market as the most important aspect of tourism marketing.

Creating a database of all regional accommodation. This has resulted in the Caribbean Gold Book that is referenced by every travel agent providing services in the Caribbean. CHA acquired complete ownership of Gold Book Publishing that published the Caribbean Gold Book. This gave the CHA better control over its future.

CHA hotels were combined through CHARMS (Caribbean Hotel Association Reservations Management System) that offered global distribution to all hotels in the association. CHARMS generated nearly US$7 million worth of business for its member hotels averaging $131.26 per night.

CHA was busy helping to steer the course of the tourism and hospitality industry in the region through such developments.

Caribbean choice hotels offer choice accommodations that fit every budget and individual taste. Accommodation can be in the form of inns and guesthouses or private villas and luxury resorts. Families traveling together can choose from among any of the full-service hotels that cater to the children with special meals, programs, and activities and services specifically directed at kids. There are also resorts that cater exclusively to singles that are interested in meeting other singles. For those who prefer solitude and peace there are several small and remote locations that are extremely quite. Travelers interested in eco-tourism can avail the eco-resorts that are rapidly growing all throughout the Caribbean. If you desire an exciting nightlife then there are many resorts where the party goes on all through the night.

December to April is considered the busy season in the Caribbean. The weather in this period is also at its best with no chance of rain. Prices during this season are much higher and accommodation is difficult to find so it is recommended that you make your bookings early.

Discount Hotel New York City

There’s always a first time for everything, Bargain Hotel while in holiday is not exceptional. The question in today’s Bargains Hotels - reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "How to find the best discount hotel New York City has to offer?"

A trip to New York can be expensive, but it doesn't have to be! Harnessing the power of the internet, anyone can find the best discount hotel New York City has to offer. We have made it easy by providing information and options to help you find a low-cost solution for your next trip to New York.

Looking for a Discount Hotel? New York City has a surprisingly large selection.

While the sights are alluring, the price tag for a trip to NY can be steep. Many people look for a hotel at a discount, so that they can have more of their budgeted "trip money" to use elsewhere. Because, quite honestly, few NY visitors spend a great deal of time in their hotel rooms.

The internet is hands-down the greatest resource for do-it-yourself travel planners. You could start by looking at one the big-name travel sites such as Travelocity, Expedia, Orbitz. This will give a sense of what they offer as the "best" discount hotel New York City. But keep in mind that there are many other websites out there that may be willing to give you a better price.

Just click any link that you find on the web (they seem to be everywhere nowadays) and check out what that site has to offer. I recommend that you click on several different links that offer a discount hotel in New York City, so that you can really get a feel for what is out there.

You can also search by hotel chain because sometimes going directly to the source will save more than a big travel site (for example: New Yorker Hotel, Red Roof Inn, Super 8 Hotel Times Square). Also consider Bed & Breakfasts, Hostels, Inns, Guesthouses and even renting a temporary apartment.

A few questions to ask while you plan for an ensuing jaunt to NYC:

Where do you want to stay? New York City can be divided into several areas and these areas usually determine the range of hotel fees you're going to encounter.

Do you want your hotel to be situated in Manhattan, where most New York attractions can be found?

Or do you want to stay in a trendy upbeat area? If so, then the hotels in Soho, Chelsea and similar areas are probably what you're looking for.

Fortunately for the cost-conscience traveler, one of the best alternatives to a discount hotel New York City has to offer is a Hostel...and they are located all over the metropolitan area. The general price range for a stay at a NYC hostel is anywhere from $15-$89 per night. You can choose from dorm-style or private room. Most come with a free breakfast and all come with clean sheets and towels.

This is a great New York travel deal! I can speak from experience, this is worth looking into.

Who are you traveling with? While hostels offer an amazing deal for lodging, they are NOT for everyone. Those traveling with kids probably will not want to stay in one, unless you can secure a private room for 4 people (which some have).

For those interested in a simple discount hotel, New York City will not disappoint. You can find them all over the city with a range of amenities to fit your traveling needs and budget. The price range for these discount hotels are around $80-$325 per night. The price typically depends on location and amenities of the hotel.

A great NYC hotel tip to keep in mind: If you only plan to use the room to sleep, clean up and change clothes in order to go out again, then consider an accommodation that is slightly outside of the "hot spot". Transportation (fabulous Metro system, taxis, private vehicles, etc) is easily accessible and readily available most of the time 24/7.

So if you are looking for a discount hotel. New York City will meet or exceed your expectations and provide you with many to choose from. Not to mention all of the fun you can have with the money that you will save by choosing a low-budget accommodation.

Romantic Weddings At Las Vegas Hotels

There’s always a first time for everything, Getting Bargains Hotels is not exceptional. The question in today’s Bargains Hotels - reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "What is the wedding packages that Las Vegas Hotels offer in addition to accommodation?"

While planning your Las Vegas wedding, you may consider looking at wedding packages that Las Vegas Hotels offer in addition to accommodation. The idea of getting married at the hotel where you stay while in Vegas is quite reasonable. First of all, this solution is very convenient to the newlyweds and their guests -- the ceremony and the reception will be organized at one place and the guests don't have to go to other hotels before and after the wedding. Usually the hotels offer very good deals if you buy a package from them plus the bride and the groom will get to spend a night after in a luxurious suite, with champagne, chocolate and breakfast in bed, etc. Those are just some of the extras thrown in by the hotel wedding coordinators if you decide to get married at their hotel.

Las Vegas is the place where the customers really benefit from the competition between the businesses by getting the highest quality services and products reasonably priced. Obviously, when you get married at a lavish 5-star hotel you can't expect to get married with a budget under $1,000. Yes, it is possible in Vegas, but if you're looking for something special, you have to pay for that. But the hotels in Las Vegas offer much more than the small chapels. The Strip hotels have both the breathtaking amenities (chapels, restaurants, suites and banquet halls) and the best-qualified professional staff -- able to create for you the most romantic wedding you've always dreamed of.

So don't l look for a simple Elvis wedding or a quickie drive tru ceremony when you think of getting married at one of Las Vegas hotels. Don't you deserve to think much bigger? And whatever you dream of it will be delivered... There is practically nothing that the Strip hotels couldn't provide. From fantastic themed weddings like the very romantic ceremonies on a Venetian-style gondola (at The Venetian) or on top of the replica of the Eiffel Tower (Paris Hotel) to saying "I do!" in an adventurous way - on the pirate ship (Treasure Island Hotel). They can even make a wedding for you based on your favorite TV show! Imagine exchanging vows on the bridge of the USS Enterprise, having Klingons and Ferengi as witnesses; yes, it's possible, no problem... (Las Vegas Hilton Hotel).

Those are just some of the themed weddings that are becoming increasingly popular lately. The other very popular trend is offering -- in addition to the traditional ceremony in the hotel's chapel -- some kind of wedding package that includes exchanging vows outdoors. Usually the ceremony is taking place in a garden (often with a gazebo or a fountain as a backdrop for nice photo opportunities) or near the pool. For example, the Aladdin Hotel, the Paris, MGM Grand, and Sahara Hotel offer poolside weddings. And as for the garden weddings, you will certainly love getting married at the majestic Wynn Las Vegas Hotel that has a secluded outdoor courtyard with trees and fountains, but you also may choose the Flamingo Hotel that has five outdoor garden locations for your nuptials that feature gazebos and waterfalls. If you'd like to get married near a pond or fountain, then Caesars Palace Hotel outdoor wedding will certainly make you happy.

Still, for those looking for more excitement during the wedding ceremony, they may choose saying "I do!" high above the ground with amazing views of the Strip below. The Eiffel Tower package mentioned already (especially the Twilight option) will suit them very well, but how about exchanging vows at the Stratosphere Hotel -- at the top of the Tower, 800 feet above the ground on the outdoor observation deck...

But if the height scares you, the Bellagio Hotel may be a good choice for you, because you can get married there on a terrace overlooking their beautiful lake and the world-famous fountain show.

Those tastefully created wedding packages at the Las Vegas Strip hotels don't come cheap, but having a great way to start new life together is well worth it. And no doubt the bride and the groom and their guests will remember for many years to come their elegant ceremony and reception. Almost every package includes video and picture sets and very often a web cam broadcast is provided so that your family and friends who were not able to come to Vegas can watch you and admire on the Internet how great you looked and how successful your Las Vegas wedding was.

And just if you're pressing me hard to tell you how much those romantic hotel weddings are, here are some examples (naturally, they may change at any time): Eiffel Tower Wedding At Twilight Package -- $10,000 (but only $3,300.00 if not at twilight...); Pirate Ship Wedding -- between $2,499 and $3,199; Venetian Gondola Wedding -- between $750 and $4,500; Star Trek Wedding -- from $500 to $3,000.

Vow renewal packages are also available and they are very popular -- because if you come to Vegas once, baby, you'll be coming back...

Why people travel at all.

There’s always a first time for everything, Bargains Hotels is not exceptional. The question in today’s Bargains Hotels - reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "Why are Hotels A Home Away from Home?"

People travel for romance, business and education. Others travel just to get away from home for a while. The reasons are different, but most people who travel stay in a hotel while away from home. These places are businesses, but they are also a home away from home. People stay in hotels because they want a base while they attend to other pursuits that are important to them. They might be in Japan for a business trip, but they return to the accommodations that they have booked to have some of the amenities of home. In their work, they have to negotiate contracts or sign deals, and then they want a great place to sleep and watch a little television.

Hotels should provide an atmosphere that makes people feel at home. The institutions will concentrate on this hospitality for their guests. The staff at the hotel will put clean sheets on the bed so their guests will sleep well. They will try to have as many selections on the television so their guests will have something to do in their spare time. The staff here will have restaurants, a coffee shop and room service so the guests at the hotel will have a great meal.

Hotels Differ Greatly in the Amenities

Some hotels are extremely luxurious, and provide incredible amenities for their guests. Some of these great places have spas with saunas, steam rooms, and gyms. There are personnel on hand to give facials and massages for the comfort of their guests. Find hotels which usually have restaurants with the best food available. These will provide caviar and smoked salmon along with great desserts at the end of the meal. The staff will provide office services and help getting around the city.

Some hotels are much less expensive because they provide only the basic services for their guests. These accommodations have a nice bed for their guests so they can have a good rest every evening. Many of the less expensive places have a television available for the guests. These hotels usually have a restaurant or coffee shop with reasonable rates for the food they provide. Many of the people who stay in cheaper hotels figure that they do not want to spend much time in their accommodations. They are out and about to see the sights of the city or do the business that they came to do.
